Model Making
Model making is when you create a small version of your design to show your ideas in real life! It's like building a mini-version of something you’ve imagined — using materials like cardboard, clay, paper, or even recycled things from home. Making a model helps you test your ideas, see what works, and make your design even better before you make the real thing!
Papamahi Activity
In this step we will now take our map and design, and using Minecraft we are going to build a model. We are going to do this so we can start to picture what our models might look like in real life!
Task 01: Build!
Now its time to build! We can use anything to build our model but in this case we are using Minecraft. You are free to use Roblox, Lego, Craft Materials or whatever you like. Choose your building medium of choice and start building!
Task 02: Document your build
When you finish your build, what we want you to do is is take a short video showing us your build/model and explaining the concept behind it. Also take a photo of your map and design papers.
Task 03: Send in
Now go to any one of our social media pages and send us your photos of your maps and designs, along with your short video so we can check out your awesome designs!
