Looking at the Ao from a different perspective! Through this papamahi capture the textures of different surfaces from different heights within your environment, analyse and document these using contemporary or found materials.
Activity:
Create a triptych frottage (rubbings) of three different surfaces from the ground, eye and upper levels in their environment. This could be the classroom, outside space, kainga or another environment.
From the frottage drawings zoom in to capture 3 micro views and recreate these using a variety of materials within circular wire frames. Assemble and hang these to create a moving mobile structure.
