Memorial Park Masterplan

After the success of the community-led Kaikohe Basketball Court ĀKAU were engaged to complete a masterplan for Memorial Park and develop the design through to construction to uplift the face, mana and mauri of Memorial Park. The design features a learn-to- ride bike track, whānau area, new papa tākaro, exercise zone and other elements. Every part of this park was designed with local taitamariki of Kaikohe! This project is about to begin construction.
