Poutama Fort

We have loved working with this rōpū of young tama from Kaikohe East School. We have seen them flourish to be some of the most determined, creative tamariki we have ever worked with. Over our time with them they have contributed to the community through flag designs, the Kaikohekohe Taonga Trail, they have designed a set of taniwha board games and this, our last project with them before most of them head off to Intermediate. This fort, that they designed and built, based on the concept of hauora, is their legacy to those that follow behind them.
